Ernst Heydorn

Ernst Heydorn (born October 9, 1904 in Dierdorf ; † November 15, 1979 there ) was a German farmer and politician ( FDP ).

Life

After graduating from elementary school, Heydorn completed an agricultural apprenticeship and attended the farming college. He then worked as a self-employed farmer with an attached business in Dierdorf. He did military service, took part in the Second World War as a soldier and was most recently taken prisoner, from which he was released in 1948. Then he resumed his work as a farmer.

Heydorn joined the FDP and was elected chairman of the FDP official association Dierdorf. In addition, he was a board member of the FDP district association Neuwied (from 1956 deputy district chairman) and board member of the FDP district association Koblenz-Nord / Montabaur. In 1952 he was elected to the office of Dierdorf and the district council of the Neuwied district . In both local councils he was temporarily chairman of the FDP parliamentary group. From January 17, 1961, when he replaced the retired MP Bruno Becher , until 1971 he was a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate without interruption .

Ernst Heydorn was married and had four children.
