Ernst Manzke

Ernst Manzke (born July 30, 1878 in Gnesen , † September 22, 1952 in Saalfeld ) was a German politician ( DNVP ).

Manzke attended the pre-school and boys' school in Neutomischel in Posen from 1885 to 1893. From 1893 to 1895 Manzke completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith in Neutomischel and Schlawe. From 1901 to 1902 Manzke studied mechanical engineering at the Mittweida technical center in Saxony. In 1902 he passed the engineering examination. He then worked as a technician in a machine factory in Bielefeld. Later he worked as a technician and engineer in machine works in Schwiebus , Rössel , Fraustadt and Freystadt in Lower Silesia. In 1910 he founded a repair shop for agricultural machinery and equipment. In 1913 he passed the locksmith examination in Glogau.

In 1919 Manzke joined the German National People's Party (DNVP). In the Reichstag elections of May 1924 , he was a candidate for the constituency of the DNVP 8 (Legnica) in the Reichstag elected. In addition, he was the first district chairman of the German Association of Craftsmen Berlin-Friedenau eV in Lower Silesia, a member of the district and provincial councils , and chief master of the locksmiths and blacksmiths in Freystadt.
