Ernst Neuwiem

Ernst Neuwiem , also Erhard Neuwiem, (born January 6, 1889 in Schweidnitz , † November 11, 1943 in Münster ) was a German teacher of constitutional law .

Neuwiem studied law and political science at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Breslau from 1908 to 1911 and received his doctorate there in 1912. He was a court assessor from 1915 to 1919 and completed his habilitation in 1916 at the University of Breslau. In 1920 he was appointed to the University of Greifswald and in 1930 moved to the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster . In 1943 he was killed in a bomb attack.

Neuwiem was a founding member of the Association of German Constitutional Law Teachers in 1922 .
