Ernst Oscar Rosell (born December 3, 1881 in Jönköping ; † July 26, 1953 there ) was a Swedish sports shooter .
successes
Ernst Rosell, who was active for Jönköping SG , took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London . With the free rifle, he reached 46th place and also missed a top placement in the trap . In the running deer discipline , he finished eleventh in the individual competition in a single shot, while he reached eighth place in the double shot. In the team competition, he won the gold medal together with Alfred Swahn , Arvid Knöppel and Oscar Swahn with 86 to 85 goals just ahead of Great Britain, which was the only other nation to take part in the competition with a team, and thus became Olympic champion .
