Ernst Schäffer
Johann Ernst Schäffer (born November 29, 1812 in Böhne ; † May 6, 1878 in Wellen ) was a German landowner and politician .
Schäffer was the son of the judge and landowner Johannes Schäffer and his wife Maria Elisabeth nee Voss. On January 27, 1839, he married the widow Barbara Katharine Seibel, born Helmetag, in Wellen. Schäffer was a landowner in Wellen, where he was also mayor from 1855 to 1864.
From 1859 to 1878 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency Kreis der Eder .
