Ernst Stampe

Ernst Stampe (born May 2, 1856 in Schilde , † January 13, 1942 in Stettin ) was a German lawyer and university professor.

Life

Stampe attended the large city school in Rostock and Michaelis passed the Abitur examination in 1873. He studied law at the University of Berlin , the University of Rostock and the Royal University of Greifswald . In 1911 he became active in the Corps Pomerania Greifswald with Otto Fitzner and Karl von Behr . In 1886 he was professor of law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and in 1887 at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University in Breslau . In 1893 he became full professor in Greifswald . He was a representative of the Free Law School . He was elected rector for the academic year 1913/14 .
