Ernst Ziegler (* 1938 ) is a Swiss historian and paleographer.

Life

Ziegler was the city archivist of St. Gallen until 2003 and is a private lecturer at the University of St. Gallen . From 1979 to 1987 he was President of the Association for the History of Lake Constance and its Surroundings , of which he is an honorary member and who dedicated a commemorative publication to him. He publishes works by Arthur Schopenhauer .
