Ernst Zumbach
Ernst Zumbach (born July 11, 1894 in Unterägeri ; † February 28, 1976 in Zug ) was a Swiss lawyer and historian .
Life
Zumbach high school visited in Einsiedeln , completed in 1917, the Matura and then studied law at the University of Freiburg , where he 1922 Dr. iur. PhD . From 1921 to 1934 he was the first government secretary of the canton of Zug , and from 1934 to 1959 he was the canton's land clerk (and thus, among other things, responsible for the canton archive of Zug ). From 1935 to 1958 he was president of the Catholic parish of Zug. Zumbach was conservative and wrote publications on Zug's personal and legal history.
