Good Erra

The Erra estate existed as early as the 15th century, but was then destroyed. It was rebuilt in the middle of the 16th century. It has been documented since 1547.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the estate was owned by the noble Baltic German family Essen . In 1887 ownership passed to the Kursell family . Even after the expropriation in the course of the Estonian land reform of 1919, they remained the owners of the remnants until Hitler ordered the resettlement of the Baltic Germans from the Baltic States in 1939.

The single-storey wooden mansion was built at the end of the 19th century. It stood empty in the 1980s and 1990s and has now fallen into disrepair. The outbuildings are either just ruins or have already been demolished.
