Life

He studied with Karl Wahler at the Munich School of Applied Arts, where he later became a specialist teacher for applied arts. He was a member of the Munich Artists' Cooperative and Secession and exhibited mainly at the “ Great Munich Art Exhibition ” in the Haus der Kunst, the last time in 1961; For the first time he sent a work to the Eichstätt art exhibition "Eichstätt and the beautiful Altmühltal" in 1931 . In the 30 years of his work he was represented at a total of 65 art exhibitions, including one of his own in Eichstätt in 1955. Works by him, mostly created using a spatula and brush technique on canvas or wood, are now owned by the Bavarian state and the city of Eichstätt.
