Erwin Dorner

Erwin Dorner (born December 31, 1879 in Stockach , † 1951 in Lörrach ) was a German administrative and police officer.

Life

Born the son of Emil Dorner , President of the Karlsruhe Regional Court , Erwin Dorner studied law at various universities. In Tübingen he became a member of the Corps Franconia . In 1902 he passed the 1st and in 1906 the 2nd state examination. In June 1907 he entered the service of the Baden interior administration. In 1910 he was a government assessor in Karlsruhe. In 1914 he was bailiff at the District Office Durlach and 1919 added to the district office in Karlsruhe. In 1922 he was appointed to the government council at the Obersicherungsamt in Karlsruhe. As of June 1924, he was due to the staff reduction regulation in temporary retirement, but resigned in 1926 as chairman of an auxiliary chamber at the Higher Insurance Office again use. In 1932 he became district administrator in Schopfheim . In August 1933 he was appointed police chief in Baden-Baden and prematurely retired at the end of August 1936. Although a member of the NSDAP since 1933 , the ideological differences between him and his Gauleiter had become too great.
