Erwin Koppe (born March 29, 1938 in Rosenheim ) is a former German gymnast .
He took in 1960 and 1964 at the Olympic Games and won the all-German team at the Games in 1964 in Tokyo a bronze medal in the team all-around. Two years later he took third place with the GDR team in the team all-around competition at the gymnastics world championships.
After moving from West Germany to the GDR in 1957, he won the single title in the all-around at GDR championships in 1959, 1962 and 1964. In addition, he was GDR champions in ring gymnastics in 1959 and 1964 , in 1959, 1960, 1962 and 1964 on parallel bars and in 1960, 1962 and 1963 on horizontal bars . His home club was the SC DHfK Leipzig , his coach there was Rudolf Schumacher .
