Matej Juhart

Matej Juhart (born November 19, 1976 ) is a former Croatian bobsleigh athlete starting for Germany .

Matej Juhart lives in Slovenia in Domzale and in Germany in Ramsau . He has been active in bobsleigh since 2005 and has been a member of the Croatian national team since 2005. There he was pusher in the bobsleigh of pilot Ivan Sola . At the first joint race in the four-man bobsleigh in Calgary in the Bobsleigh World Cup , the team was 26. He competed for Croatia until the end of 2007, after which he moved to the German association. Here he made his international debut in November 2008 at a double race in Igls as a pusher in Manuel Machata's two-man bobsleigh . In one race Machata / Juhart achieved a second place, in the other a third place, each time with victories by Karl Angerer . In his four-man bobsleigh, Juhart started the World Cup for Germany for the first time in Altenberg in December and surprisingly won the race. The team benefited from the fact that the race was stopped after another bobsleigh fell in the second run.
