Erwin Lüders

Erwin Lüders (born September 18, 1832 in Görlitz ; † April 22, 1909 there ) was an engineer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Lüders attended the secondary school in Görlitz from 1840 to 1849 and the trade school in Zittau until 1851 and the trade institute in Berlin from 1852 to 1854 . He then worked as a technician in factories and railroad administrations. From 1873 he was chairman of the board of directors of the stock corporation for the manufacture of railway material in Görlitz and from 1877 deputy chairman of the board of directors of the Märkisch-Posener railway company. From 1864 he was chairman of the trade association in Görlitz from 1870 to 1876 city council. From 1876 to 1879 and from 1899 to 1903 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1878 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Liegnitz 9 (Görlitz, Lauban ). He stood for the National Liberal Party , the German Freedom Party and the Freedom People's Party , among others .
