Erwin Marcus

Erwin Marcus (born May 21, 1925 in Hamburg ; † February 17, 2010 there ) was a German lawyer and radio presenter .

Marcus was drafted into the parachute troop in 1943 and was taken prisoner by the English after the end of the Second World War . On his return he began to study law, which he finished in 1952 with a doctorate on "Voluntary Public Education". He then became a judge in his hometown of Hamburg. Most recently as Vice President of the State Labor Court, he resigned from the Hamburg judicial service in 1987.
