Erwin Vosseler (born March 21, 1913 ; † unknown) was a German football player.

Career

Erwin Vosseler played first division football for the Stuttgarter Kickers for 14 years . He made his debut on December 3, 1933 in a 5-1 home win against 1. FC 08 Birkenfeld . With the Kickers Vosseler reached the final round of the German Football Championship in the seasons 1935/36 and 1938/39 , after he had previously won the championship in the Gauliga Württemberg . In the finals he came in 1936 against 1. FC Nuremberg and Wormatia Worms to three, in 1939 against SK Admira Vienna, VfR Mannheim SV Dessau 05 to six more appearances in the group games. Tied with 7: 5 points each, Vosseler finished second with the Kickers in 1939 behind Admira Vienna.

After the end of the Second World War, he made 24 league appearances in the newly founded Oberliga Süd in the first two rounds in 1945/46 and 1946/47 alongside other players such as Helmut Jahn , Albert Sing , Reinhard Schaletzki , Edmund Conen and Siegfried Kronenbitter .

The defender was a painter by profession.
