Helmut Jahn (born October 22, 1917 in Berlin , † March 18, 1986 in Ludwigsburg ) was a German football player . The goalkeeper played a total of 17 international matches for Germany between 1939 and 1942 .

Before the Second World War , Helmut Jahn's career took place in his hometown of Berlin. Through the stations Spandauer SV (1925–1934), Brandenburger 03 Berlin (1934–1935) and Hertha 06 Charlottenburg (1935–1937) his path led him to Berliner SV 1892 , where he was active until 1943. With the “Störchen” from Wilmersdorf-Schmargendorf he competed in the Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg and won two championships in 1938 and 1943.
