Erythronium pluriflorum is a species of the tooth lily genus( Erythronium ).
features
The onions are 40 to 55 millimeters in size and more or less egg-shaped. The leaves are 7 to 30 centimeters long. The leaf blade is obsolete to elliptical and green. The leaf margin is more or less wavy. The shaft is 8 to 35 centimeters long. The inflorescence is one to ten flowers .
The petals are 15 to 28 millimeters in size and lanceolate. They are yellow, turn bronze over time, and are not eyed at their base. The stamens are 8 to 12 millimeters in size. The stamens are slender and yellow. The anthers are yellow. The stylus are 6 to 8 millimeters in size and yellow. The scar is unlobed or has rounded, very short lobes that are less than 1 millimeter long. The capsules are 2 to 4 centimeters long and obovate.
The flowering time is in summer from June to July.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 24.
Occurrence
Erythronium pluriflorum is only known from California from Madera County . The species grows in open, montane coniferous forests at altitudes of 2300 to 2600 meters.
