The Archdiocese of Kirkuk ( Latin Archidioecesis Cherchensis - Beth-Seleucensis o Beth-Garmaiensis ) is a Chaldean Catholic Archdiocese, unified with the Roman Catholic Church, with its seat in Kirkuk , Iraq . The diocese was founded in 1789. In 2013 it was merged with the dissolved diocese of Sulaimaniya to form the Archdiocese of Kirkuk-Sulaimaniya .
