On the middle Fastenberg (today's street "Archangel"), on which Johanngeorgenstadt stretches, in the 17th, 18th, 19th In the 20th and 20th centuries, several pits were operated to mine directly adjacent ore veins . The water from this rose led to the Poch wash of the Gotthelf Schaller mine on Schwefelwerkstraße in the Roman Adler Kunstgraben, which is still a building, and thus strengthened its water flow. Johanngeorgenstadt had 1,861 from Bergamt the water of Erzengler Rösche give leave.

Up until the shutdown, 572 kg of silver had been produced from this treasure trove.
