Hermann Woldt

Hermann Woldt (* 1684 in Lübeck ; † November 6, 1756 there ) was a merchant and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Hermann Woldt was the son of Lübeck councilor Heinrich Woldt . He was a member of the merchant company and was elected to the Lübeck council in 1732 at their suggestion. In 1736 he was together with the Lübeck mayor Heinrich Balemann church chairman of the Lübeck Marienkirche ; both gave her a silver baptismal font. During his term of office as councilor, the self-completion of the Lübeck council, forced by the citizens, fell in 1739 . In 1745 he was together with the Heinrich Balemann, Heinrich Rust and Mattheus Rodde the great bell of the rulers Holy Spirit Hospital by the council caster Lorenz beam Born in or whose son Dietrich Ratsgießhaus recast. Due to bankruptcy , he resigned as councilor on August 30, 1748.

He was married to Elisabeth (Elsabe) Marie, geb. Wolffradt. One of the couple's daughters, Henrietta, married the pastor and senior Adde Bernhard Burghardi .
