Lübeck Council 1739

The council of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck in 1739. In 1739 the Lübeck council was understaffed. The citizens of the city forced the council to elect the number of councilors constitutionally prescribed since the citizens' recession of 1669, after the council itself had failed to do so for a long period of time.
