Andreas Albrecht von Brömbsen (born June 22, 1703 in Lübeck ; † July 1, 1757 there ) was mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Andreas Albrecht von Brömbsen was the son of the Lübeck mayor Heinrich von Brömbsen . From 1721 to 1725 he studied law at the universities of Tübingen and Leipzig. When he returned to Lübeck in 1732 he became a member of the circle society . In 1738 he was elected to the city council and in 1750 was appointed one of the four mayors. During his term of office as councilor, the self-completion of the Lübeck council, forced by the citizens, fell in 1739 .

Brömbsen was heir to Krummesse and died unmarried. His epitaph with Latin inscription hangs on the west wall of the saints funeral chapel in the north aisle of the Jakobikirche .

The heirs, his brothers Heinrich, landlord of Niendorf, and Christian, landlord of Nütschau , sold Krummesse, Kronsforde and Niemark to the city of Lübeck in 1759.
