Heinrich von Brömbsen

Heinrich von Brömbsen , also Hinrich (* 1673 in Lübeck ; † April 28, 1732 there ) was mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Brömbsen studied from 1692 to 1695 at the University of Leipzig and in Halberstadt . Then he went on the then usual Grand Tour . In 1697 he settled in Lübeck and became a councilor in 1717. As envoy, he also represented Lübeck in 1717, together with councilor Heinrich Balemann, to the Danish King Friedrich IV at Gottorf Castle . In 1728 he was appointed mayor of the council.

Through his wife he inherited his father-in-law, councilor Heinrich Diedrich Kerckring, who in turn was the son-in-law of Andreas Albrecht von Brömbsen. He became the owner of Niendorf and Reecke. As heir to Krummesse , he also owned the Brömbsenmühle . In accordance with family tradition, he became a member of the circle society in 1699 . As one of the rulers of the Aegidien Church , his coat of arms adorns the organ prospect with those of the other rulers from 1715.

From his sons Heinrich († 1757) inherited Niendorf and Andreas Albrecht (1703–1757), who also became mayor in 1750, Krummesse. Christian († 1759) went to Holstein and acquired Nütschau .
