Esaia's nobleman
Esaias Edelmann (born May 6, 1597 in Hohenmemmingen ; † March 15, 1643 in Giengen ) was a Protestant preacher and pastor in Giengen during the Thirty Years' War .
He studied theology at the University of Tübingen and graduated with a master's degree. He was ordained a priest and in 1626 got the second pastor's position as a preacher in Giengen. Nine days after the Battle of Nördlingen , Giengen became July 5th on September 5th . / September 15, 1634 greg. badly damaged by fire. Edelmann fled with the community to Ulm . The first pastor named Wilhelm did not come back afterwards, but went to Setzingen . Esaia's nobleman thus served as parish administrator until his death, nine years later.
