Eskitaş (formerly Ancoz or Ancuz ) is a village in the district of Kâhta in the Turkish province of Adıyaman .

Eskitaş is located on the Ataturk reservoir near the mouth of the Kahta Çayı at an altitude of about 630 meters. It is located 18 kilometers southeast of Kâhta and 45 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital Adıyaman .

The settlement hill Ancoz , named after an earlier name of the place, was located near the village. He was in the Neo-Hittite period (1200–700 BC) and at the time of the Kingdom of Commagene in the 1st century BC. Inhabited. Today it has partly disappeared in the reservoir .
