Life

Espérance-François Ngayibata Bulayumi is a research associate of WB Franz Scharl in the Archdiocese of Vienna. He was an educational officer at the Afro-Asian Institute in Vienna and lecturer at the University of Vienna / Faculty of Social Sciences - Institute for Nursing Science and at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In addition, he was in charge of the intercultural geragogy module in the Geragogy Master’s course at the Church of Education University in Vienna . He has a doctorate in philosopher and father of two Afro-Viennese adults, author of several books and studied art history, theology and philosophy in Kinshasa (Congo), Lausanne (Switzerland) and Vienna.

As a pastor, student guide and education officer at the Afro-Asian Institute in Vienna, as a university lecturer, as a refugee helper, Bulayumi is primarily a tireless bridge builder in the world. In this role, he gives important impulses to current undesirable developments in global politics. He shows the currently prevailing unjust economic structures in the world as inhumane and inhumane, he exposes the unequal distribution of resources and equal opportunities as a failure and calls on the "rich" world to rethink. For this he was awarded the Diambour Prize.

Awards

Bulayumi always focuses on human dignity and humane opportunities for everyone around the world. As a theologically and philosophically trained holistic dialogue promoter, the native Congolese author - who defines himself as Afro-Viennese - is a forward and lateral thinker for a holistic worldview, a "thorn" in the flesh of predatory capitalism, a "conscience" in the world, a who, despite some barriers, never gives up showing and implementing his visions. In October 2012, The Global Player awarded him the first Diambour Prize for his commitment to democracy and justice.
