The Estadi Municipal Palamós Costa Brava (formerly Nou Estadi Municipal de Palamos ) is a football stadium in Palamós , Catalonia , Spain . It has been home to the Spanish second division club UE Llagostera since 2014 .
history
The stadium opened on August 29, 1989 under the name Nou Estadi Municipal de Palamós and became the new home stadium of Palamós FC . In the opening game, FC Palamós beat neighbors FC Barcelona 2-1.
The first game on September 10, 1989 in the Segunda División against Levante UD ended in a 1-1 draw.
On July 7, 2014, the stadium became the new home of UE Llagostera for the next five seasons , as its actual stadium, Estadi Municipal de Llagostera, does not meet the criteria of the Segunda Division.
On August 2, 2014, the stadium was renamed Estadi Municipal Palamós Costa Brava .
