The Estadio Río Parapití is a football stadium in the Paraguayan city of Pedro Juan Caballero . It was opened in 1999 after a renovation and now holds 20,000 spectators. The football club Club 2 de Mayo plays its home games here.
During the Copa America 1999 , the teams from Paraguay , Bolivia and Peru played here . Furthermore, 10 games were played in the Estadio Río Parapití during the 2007 U-20 South American Football Championship.
