The Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo ( German : San Carlos de Apoquindo Stadium ) is a stadium in the Barrio San Carlos de Apoquindo in Las Condes , a north-eastern district of the Chilean capital Santiago de Chile . It was opened on September 4, 1988 and today holds 14,000 spectators, all seats are seats.
The stadium was previously used as a venue for rugby games and / or athletics events. At the moment, however, the stadium is mainly used by the local football club Club Deportivo Universidad Católica , which plays its home games here.
