Estefano Rodríguez
Estefano Rodríguez Rivera (born April 12, 1962 ) is a retired Mexican soccer player on the position of goalkeeper .
career
Rodríguez was under contract during his professional career with the clubs Chivas and Leones Negros , which are based in the Mexican city of Guadalajara .
His first appearance in a game for the Mexican football championship had Rodríguez of all things in the final first leg of the 1982/83 season, which was won 2-1 at home in Estadio Jalisco against Puebla FC . Since the second leg (with Celestino Morales in goal) was lost, Chivas had to be content with the runner-up in that season - as in the following 1983/84 season.
At the end of the 1986/87 season, in which Rodríguez came to three point game stakes, was the win of the ninth championship title of Chivas .
Rodríguez later moved to city rivals Leones Negros, for whom he played twelve league games in the 1989/90 season and with which he was runner-up for the third time in his career at the end of the same season.
