The Estera Foundation (Polish: Fundacja Estera ) is a Polish humanitarian organization that emerged in response to the humanitarian crisis in Syria . It was founded by the anti-Islamist Miriam Shaded in Warsaw and caused international media turmoil through its commitment to the rescue of Christian Syrians and their transport to Poland . She is mainly criticized by Western media for the fact that her help is only directed at persecuted Christians .

In connection with the European migration crisis , Miriam Shaded and her Estera Foundation brought around 60 Christian families from Syria (174 people in total) to Poland. The foundation organized their travel, their accommodation in Poland and financially cares for the well-being of the families by supporting each family with 2,600 złoty per month.

It campaigns in Poland and increasingly also at the European level for the intensification of aid for the persecuted Christians in the Middle East and around the world. To this end, she started an international YouTube channel in 2016, on which her public appearances and discussions are translated into German and English.
