Esther Denner
Esther Denner , married. Verpoorten (* around 1720 ; † August 30, 1779 in Neustrelitz ) was a German painter.
Life
Esther Denner was one of six children, five girls and a boy, of the painter Balthasar Denner and his wife Esther, née. Winter. As a child, she lived with her family in England for a few years . She received lessons in painting and drawing from her father. Together with her sisters Maria and Catharina (* 1715) and her brother Jacob (* 1722) she helped her father finish his portraits. She created her own works for the court of Mecklenburg-Strelitz .
She was married to the Neustrelitz court doctor Johann Christian Wilhelm Verpoorten .
