Esther Stahl (born August 19, 1980 in Oberhausen ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Esther Stahl began with volleyball at STV Hünxe at home . The left-hander came to the second division Alemannia Aachen through TuB Bocholt and SV Blau-Weiß Dingden , with whom she was promoted to the first division in 2008 . In 2009 Ester Stahl also played five international matches in the German national team . The universally applicable Aachen captain was elected to the “Allstar Team” of the Bundesliga in 2009 and 2010. In 2011 Esther Stahl played in the second division for TV Gladbeck , but only made two appearances due to a knee injury.

Private

Esther Stahl studied at the Ruhr University in Bochum , where she obtained a doctorate in mechanical engineering. Today she works at the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology in Oberhausen.
