Etan Cohen
Etan Cohen (* 1974 in Jerusalem , Israel ) is an American film director , producer and screenwriter . He also works under the name Ethan Cohen . Due to the similarity of names, he is often confused with the director Ethan Coen .
Life
Cohen was born in Jerusalem in 1974 and grew up in Efrata . He later moved with his parents to the city of Sharon, Massachusetts . He is a devout Jew . Since 1997 he has appeared as a screenwriter; until the mid-2000s he was only involved in television series. He made his feature film directing debut in 2015 with the comedy Der Knastcoach , for which he also wrote the screenplay.
