Eugen Baum (soccer player)

Eugen Baum (born October 13, 1922 ) is a former German football player .

Eugen Baum moved from Sportfreunde Stuttgart to SSV Reutlingen 05 in 1948 . With Reutlingen he first played in the Oberliga Südwest . Eugen Baum was in the season 1949/50 with the SSV in the group south of the Oberliga Südwest relay champion. After a defeat in the final of the southwest German championship against 1. FC Kaiserslautern , he reached the southwest German runner-up with SSV Reutlingen. When his Reutlinger Prussia Dellbrück lost 1-0 in extra time in the final round of the 1950 German championship , Eugen Baum was in action for the SSV for 120 minutes. The league season 1950/51 he denied with the SSV because of a change of association in the Oberliga Süd . At the end of this season, Eugen Baum was relegated to the second division with SSV Reutlingen .
