Eugen Hasler (born June 26, 1965 in Galgenen ) is a former Swiss wrestler .

career

He was considered one of the greatest wrestlers of his time, but could never win the title of wrestling king. In 1989, Schwyzer was a big favorite in the final round of the Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival , but surprisingly lost to 18-year-old Adrian Käser from Bern . The jury decided to award the “Geni” classified in Rank 1b the title of “First Winner”. At the Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Wrestling Festival in Chur in 1995, the offensive Sennenschwinger was in the final stages, but lost again unluckily, against Thomas Sutter from Eastern Switzerland .

In 1990 Hasler won the Kilchberger Schwinget . Hasler emerged as the winner at 38 wreath festivals and is a member of the "Hundreds Club" with a total of 101 wreaths. The flagship of the Central Swiss Wrestling Association has won the Federal Wreath five times.

In 1999 Hasler ended his active career. From 1997 until 2001 he was the technical director of his local swinging club March-Höfe. He then held the same position from 2002 to 2008 at the Schwyzer Kantonalverband and from 2009 to 2014 at the Central Swiss Wrestling Association (ISV), the latter also being a member of the Technical Commission of the Swiss Wrestling Association (ESV).
