Eugen Stahl Schmidt (born February 17, 1862 in Copenhagen , † October 7, 1931 in Aalborg ) was a Danish athlete , marksman and tug of war .
Schmidt took part in the Summer Olympics in Athens in 1896 and in Paris in 1900 . In the military rifle, Schmidt was twelfth together with the Greek Spyridon Stais. In the athletics competition over 100 meters sprint, Schmidt was eliminated in the preliminary run. At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900, Schmidt won the gold medal in the Swedish- Danish tug of war team.
