Eugene Mercer
Eugene Mercer ( Eugene Leroy "Roy" Mercer; born October 30, 1888 in Kennett Square , Pennsylvania , † July 2, 1957 ) was an American long jumper and decathlete .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he was fifth in the long jump and sixth in the decathlon .
Starting for the University of Pennsylvania , he became IC4A champion in 1912 and 1913 .
