Eugenienberg
Eugenienberg is a district of the municipality of Siedenbrünzow in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The place is about one kilometer west of Siedenbrünzow.
location
The Tollense approaches the place in the southeast up to a distance of about 250 meters. It can be crossed on a bridge in a southerly direction at Sanzkow .
history
The place was created as part of the state development in Prussia between 1748 and 1752 as a colony with eight settler families from Mecklenburg and Swedish Pomerania in the city forest of Demmin. In honor of Prince Eugen von Anhalt-Dessau , Friedrich II had the settlement named Eugenienberg in 1751. In 1862 the place had 118 inhabitants.

The federal road 110 runs through Eugenienberg .
From 1897 to 1945 there was a stop of the Demminer Bahnen in Eugenienberg , the route of which ran south of the village and was dismantled in 1945. A standard gauge line between Demmin and Tutow airfield, which has now also been dismantled , ran parallel to this and was used between 1937 and 1995.
