Euro Nitro Series
The Euro Nitro Series (ENS) is a European racing series for radio-controlled model cars that has been held since 2013. After the official EFRA European Championships , it is one of the most important pan-European racing series. In contrast to its sister series with electric motors, the Euro Touring Series and the Euro Offroad Series , combustion engines with nitromethane are used as fuel in the ENS races .
technology
Two classes of combustion vehicles are permitted in the ENS. In class 1: 8, model cars are driven with an engine with a maximum of 3.5 cm³. These use bodies that are modeled on the shape of the Le Mans prototype . In the 1:10 class, on the other hand, there are touring car bodies and a displacement of up to 2.11 cm³.
The regulations also stipulate the maximum dimensions and the minimum weight of the vehicles. The technical rules are more open than those of the corresponding EFRA European Championships.
Season overview
The races only take place outdoors in the summer.
