European Monday Newspaper

The European Monday Newspaper or European Freytags Newspaper was the oldest newspaper published in Hanover . It was published between 1668 and 1673 and is only preserved in the Marburg State Archives . However, a microfilm can be viewed in the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library .

The editor of the newspaper was probably Georg Friedrich Grimm .

The successor was the weekly Hanoverian Intelligence Zettul and advertisement .
