The athletics competitions at the European Summer Youth Olympic Festival 2019 in Baku took place from July 22nd to 27th. The venue was the Tofiq Bəhramov Stadium .

Youngsters born in 2002 and 2003 were eligible to participate. Each National Olympic Committee was allowed to nominate one athlete per individual discipline, but not more than 28 athletes in total.
