Eusebius ( Latinized form) or Eusebios is a male given name. From the Greek original form: εὐσεβής , eusebés - "pious", which translates the epithet of the Roman emperor Antoninus Pius into Greek, the expanded form εὐσέβειος - "belonging to the emperor Antoninus the pious" and hence the personal name Eusĕbīus .
