Euvaldo José de Aguiar Neto , better known as Neto Baiano , (born September 17, 1982 in Ituaçu , Brazil ) is a Brazilian football player.

Career

The 1.87 meter tall striker began his career in 2000 with the youth club Mirassol FC , after two years he was promoted to the professional league. From 2003 to 2005 he was loaned by the clubs AD São Caetano , SC Internacional , FC Binh Duong and the club Mogi Mirim FC . In 2005 it was bought by the Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors association for 1.43 million euros. After a season he turned his back on the Korean club and moved to Paulista FC . In the next season 2006/07 he signed a contract with the club Athletico Paranaense and was loaned in 2006 by the club SE Palmeiras and 2007 by the club Fortaleza EC . After returning to the club Paulista FC back, he was under contract for one season.

In 2009 he signed a contract with the EC Vitória association . On April 20, he scored the 1,000th goal in their 3-0 win against Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro in their Estádio M stadium. In the same year he was the top scorer with 18 goals. In the 2009/10 season he was loaned from JEF United Ichihara Chiba to avoid relegation of the club. After one season he was back at the Vitória EC club. Neto started the 2013 season in great shape and only lost one defeat on two hat-tricks. Although the red-black team could not keep up the good performances, Neto continued to score goals. In the first few months he took part in 32 games and scored 32 goals. In Série B he was able to continue his good performance. His last game with the club he completed against AD São Caetano before moving to the club AD São Caetano.

He premiered on August 11, 2012, during the season he could not continue the good performance in his former club. In January 2013 he announced that he was dissatisfied with the club and that he would like to return to Brazil. He moved to the Brazilian club Goiás EC . On September 27, 2013 he signed a contract with Sport Recife . After a short time he would become one of the most important strikers. The fans nicknamed him Neto Ibrahimovic. On July 26, 2014, he scored from midfield in the goal, which was later chosen as the best goal in Brasileireo. On December 17, 2014 he returned to the EC Vitória association .
