Eva-Maria Zurhorst

Eva-Maria Zurhorst (born February 16, 1962 in Wipperfürth in the Oberbergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German author, speaker, relationship adviser. She works with her husband Wolfram Zurhorst. Her books have been sold over a million times worldwide. Her self-help book “ Love yourself and it doesn't matter who you marry ”, which appeared in 2004, was on the Der Spiegel bestseller list for four years and has been translated into a further 18 languages.

Zurhorst began writing for daily newspapers while he was in school. After graduating from high school, she completed an internship at the Remscheider General-Anzeiger . During her studies in history, politics and Spanish, she worked as a journalist and reporter for Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) and the German Press Agency . She later went to Egypt and South Africa as a journalist . Then she worked in public relations and as a communications manager in business. This was followed by psychotherapeutic training and the opening of a coaching and consulting practice. Together with her husband Wolfram Zurhorst she works as a relationship coach and lecturer. Zurhorst has a daughter and lives with her husband in Wachtberg and Bad Wiessee am Tegernsee.
