Eva Aschenbrenner

Eva Aschenbrenner (born February 2, 1924 in Kochel ; † November 1, 2013 there ) was a Bavarian herbalist. It was considered by supporters in German-speaking countries as a capacity in folk medicine .

Life

Due to a serious illness of her husband, Aschenbrenner dealt with the topic of folk medicine in order to support therapy through conventional medicine . She began to research the healing properties of native wild herbs . This earned her the reputation of being a specialist in the field of herbal medicine, initially regionally, later nationally. Her books brought her growing popularity among people interested in folk medicine, so that the Bavarian Radio became aware of her and invited her to appear on television.
