Eva Brunne
Eva Brunne (born March 7, 1954 in Malmö ) is a former bishop of the Stockholm diocese in the Church of Sweden . She was ordained bishop on November 8, 2009 in Uppsala . On September 22, 2019, she was replaced by Andreas Holmberg .
Life
After finishing school, Brunne studied Protestant theology . She then worked as a pastor in a parish in Stockholm for 16 years .
She is the successor to Bishop Caroline Krook , who retired at the end of October 2009. Brunne lives in a registered partnership with the Lutheran pastor Gunilla Lindén . Lindén brought a son into the relationship.
