Eva Menges

Eva Menges (born January 13, 1970 ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Eva Menges joined the judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1999 after studying and doing her doctorate at the University of Heidelberg . After working at the District Court of Karlsruhe , Karlsruhe regional court and in the prosecutor's office in Karlsruhe it was to the 2002 Ministry of Justice Baden-Wuerttemberg seconded and appointed there to judge at the district court and in 2006 the government director. In 2007 she was seconded to the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court and then until May 2010 as a research assistant to the Federal Court of Justice. In mid-2008 she was appointed judge at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court. From there, she was last seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant when she was elected federal judge in March 2011. She was initially a member of the 3rd Criminal Senate of the Federal Court of Justice , and is now a member of the XI. Civil Senate and the Federal Service Court .
