The Ministry of Justice of Baden-Württemberg is one of eleven ministries in the administration of the state of Baden-Württemberg .

The tasks and responsibilities include:
- All administrative matters in the ordinary courts , the prosecutor's offices , the administrative jurisdiction , the tax courts , the social courts and the labor courts of the country;
- the elaboration of draft bills and examination of constitutional questions, unless other ministries are responsible (function as so-called legal advisor of the state government);
- the legal appraisal of draft laws;
- dealing with intergovernmental matters relating to the administration of justice ;

- Examination and training of young legal professionals and candidates for the careers of the jurisdictions named in No. 1;
